Improving farmer livelihoods through
agri-business training and traceability

SHIFT is working with Rwanda Trading Company (RTC) and Great Lakes Coffee (GLC) on a MasterCard Fund for Rural Prosperity scaling project to provide agri-business training and a mobile payment and traceability platform for East African farmers. Over a period of 3.5 years, the $2.5 million program will reach 70,000 farmers across Rwanda and Uganda.
Over the duration of the project, SHIFT will provide support as the project's development partner, sharing development-related knowledge throughout the design, management and impact reporting of the project.
