The Coffee Supply Chain

Scroll through the gallery below to discover the process of how coffee travels from the hands of farmers, exporters, traders, roasters to consumers.
Coffee is best grown in high altitudes, often on slopes or plateaus. Once coffee cherries turn a bright, deep red, they are ready to be handpicked.
Once cherries are picked, they are processed immediately to prevent spoilage. Cherries are spread thinly on the ground or on a raised table to dry in the sun until they bear around 12% moisture.
Roasted coffee is ground by coarseness according to how they will be brewed. Coffee is served.
