SHIFT seeks a detail-oriented, self-starter to help promote the organization and its work, and to support the team with project development and grant management.
Intern will learn more about international development, grant management and sustainability and will contribute to the work of the organization as it seeks to reduce poverty and inequality in coffee growing communities.This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience working with a wide variety of agricultural programs and donors in Africa and Latin America.
Responsibilities Include
Support grant/project management and reporting (financial and narrative)
Develop marketing materials
Maintain an online presence through Twitter, social networks, and other relevant websites
Support proposals/reports through review, editing, and layout
Assist with the development of Social Impact Projects
Other tasks as needed
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: -
A demonstrated interest in sustainability and international development
Very media-savvy with a strong knowledge of online social media platforms (twitter, instagram, etc.)
Fluency in English writing and grammar
A keen attention to detail
